Being single can feel like a curse or a blessing. Whichever option you choose, that’s cool.
I’ve learned a few things from being single.
- Being single is not as bad as people make it sound.
- The more you focus on being single, the more desperate you seem to potential suitors. Focus instead on your calling and your gifts.

- The older you get, the more cynical you become. Fight your need to be cynical. Stay young. Stay alive. Never grow old.
- You only have one face. Wash your face every evening. Never get to the point where people say, “she used to be pretty”.
- Guys come and go but you stay. Love yourself. Be true to yourself. Don’t hurt yourself.
- Never compromise on your standards. If you don’t want to have sex with someone, say it…
